Using this flour mix is straightforward. The premixed yeast is evenly distributed within the flour, ensuring consistent results. This makes it ideal for baking pizza, bread, focaccia, or any yeast-based product you wish to prepare. You can achieve bakery-level dough texture and flavor right at home, with the added satisfaction of knowing you’re working with premium Italian ingredients.
Ingredients for Pizza Dough
To make the perfect pizza dough using Grandi Molini Italiani Flour with Premixed Yeast, you will need the following ingredients:
- 1 kg Preparato (Flour with Premixed Yeast)
- 600-640 ml water
- 15-20 g salt
- 20-30 ml extra virgin olive oil
For those who prefer a softer dough, go for higher water percentage.
Method for Pizza Dough
- Mixing the Dough: Start by placing the Preparato mix in a large bowl or mixer. Add in the extra virgin olive oil, salt, and water. Mix thoroughly until the dough is smooth and homogeneous. Once the dough is fully mixed, allow it to rest in the bowl for about 30 minutes.
- Rolling Out the Dough: After resting, roll out the dough onto a baking sheet that has been brushed with olive oil. This step ensures the dough will bake evenly and develop a nice crust.
- Seasoning the Dough: Top the dough with tomato sauce and extra virgin olive oil. Allow the dough to rise for about 60-70 minutes, during which time the dough will expand, tripling in volume.
- Baking the Pizza: Preheat your convection oven to 220°C (428°F). Once the dough has risen, bake it in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden and crispy. After removing the pizza from the oven, you can top it with mozzarella cheese and your favorite ingredients for a fully customized pizza experience.
