A Tavola Gastronomia

“Food isn’t just what we eat—it’s how we celebrate, connect, and remember who we are. In Italy, when someone calls ‘A Tavola!’, it’s an invitation to gather at the table. In Vietnam, a warm ‘Cả nhà ơi, vào ăn cơm!’ carries the same heartfelt meaning. Two cultures, oceans apart, yet united by a love of family, food, and shared moments.

A Tavola Gastronomia was born from those two worlds. With Italian and Vietnamese roots, our founders know that the best meals are built on authentic ingredients and honest craftsmanship.

In today’s market, it can be hard to know where your food really comes from. Big brands hide behind mass production and complicated supply chains. We chose a different path: we work directly with Italy’s most respected producers — people who have spent generations perfecting their craft, respecting their land, and preserving their traditions.

Every item we bring to Vietnam tells a story:

  • Olive oils pressed within hours of harvest, full of life and character.
  • Sun-ripened tomatoes grown under the Mediterranean sun.
  • Cold cuts and cheeses matured slowly in quiet.

These aren’t commercial, off-the-shelf products. They’re real, honest flavors that make every meal worth gathering for—even if it takes a little extra effort to find them.

When you choose A Tavola, you’re not just stocking your pantry—you’re bringing a piece of Italy’s soul to your Vietnamese table. You’re supporting the farmers, millers, cheesemakers, and families who believe food should always be made with care.

Our Mission

To connect Vietnam with Italy’s finest artisans, sharing food that honors tradition, quality, and the joy of coming together.

Our Values

  • Authenticity: Real ingredients, real people, real stories.
  • Heritage: Respect for centuries-old traditions and craftsmanship.
  • Transparency: Direct sourcing, no shortcuts.
  • Community: Bringing people together—one meal, one story, one table at a time.

Meet Our Team

Ms. Hằng — the one who guides our way

She’s the kind of person who picks a tiny piece of aged Parmigiano to nibble on in the middle of a busy afternoon.

She says —

“Aged cheese is like an old soul — always full of stories, if only you know how to listen.”

She loves Italy for its unhurried meals.
Because in Italy — no one rushes to finish a plate.

And maybe that’s why A Tavola began.

Linh San — the traveller who brings stories home

He comes back from every journey with a pocket full of memories — Early morning trains and long drives through quiet countryside roads — looking for people who still make food the way their grandparents did.

He visits tiny cheese cellars with stone walls cool to the touch, where wheels of cheese grow older than time.

He listens to stories told over the hum of olive presses.

He asks Farmers whose hands smell like tomatoes and salt about weather, about soil, about how long the tomatoes dried under the sun that year.

Because everything — every little thing — ends up on your table.

Thạch – Always ready to name dozens of cheeses in a single afternoon

Thạch doesn’t talk much about himself, but he can go on for hours about Pecorino — like reminiscing about an old friend, with warmth and enthusiasm.

You’ll often find him happily chatting about La Fiammante tomato sauce or the perfect pasta — how bronze-die spaghetti holds onto sauce just right. Because for Thạch, there’s nothing better than sharing something truly delicious.

Diệu — the keeper of small, important things

Some people say numbers are cold. Not Diệu.

Diệu — the one who works with numbers the most — also happens to be the one who experiments with risotto recipes more than anyone else in the office.

She often jokes, “Being an accountant at A Tavola on an empty stomach? That’s dangerous!” — and she’s always the first to volunteer for new product tastings.

Mr. Nguyên — the one who carries warmth through the streets

In the early hours, or under the afternoon sun —

You’ll see him weaving through the little alleys of the city,

balancing boxes of olive oil, cheese, pasta — like a secret messenger from some Italian kitchen far away.

He says deliveries are never just about speed.

“It’s about getting things there whole, safe, and just as beautiful as when they left us.”

Having been with A Tavola for over a decade, there are times he knows the products even better than we do.

Thắng – “winner” — with a bright smile ready to invite you to share something good.

“To me, Italian food means sitting at the table with friends and family — sharing not only a meal but stories, laughter, and time. That’s the most important moment of the day — and something we should keep in our everyday life.”

And Thang — he lives that spirit effortlessly.
Energetic, warm-hearted, always smiling.

He’s happiest when handing over a box of carefully chosen ingredients —

with a grin that says:

“This one — you’re going to love.”

Sơn – The one who brings a taste of Italy to every corner of Central Vietnam

He’s passionate about food in his own thoughtful way — curious, meticulous, and always eager to understand each ingredient more deeply.

For Sơn, it’s never just about selling.
It’s about connecting with people who truly appreciate the flavors of Italy — and the joy of helping a local kitchen find exactly what it needs.

And if you’re ever looking for a good place to eat — from a wood-fired pizza spot tucked away in Hội An to a hidden mì Quảng gem down a quiet alley — Sơn always has a recommendation, along with a quiet smile and a line:

“That place has soul. You’ve got to try it.”

Thương – The one who gathers small details and tells stories through feeling

She’s the team’s quiet force in marketing — often found carefully setting up a shot of an olive oil bottle or a rustic loaf of bread, chasing the perfect light.

When Thương first joined A Tavola, she couldn’t yet tell prosciutto from pancetta. But just a few months in, she knew exactly when tomato harvest season begins, how to cut cheese without it crumbling, and could talk passionately about the nuances of Italian cured meats — like a never-ending culinary journey.

She listens closely to the smallest things customers say — and gently turns them into thoughtful campaigns that connect.

Thương loves Italy — because there, people don’t make food to impress. They make it to preserve something that matters.
